Super-curing has expanded its UV curing adhesive range with six new grades developed for security device assembly and for glass and crystal bonding. Together they give manufacturers a practical toolkit for fast, clean and durable assembly — from security housings and security glass to light string molding, large-area glass bonding and decorative crystal work.
The launch adds two focused series. The security series (3112, 3117 and 3118) targets housing fixing, glass fixing and light string molding, combining fast curing with excellent adhesion to glass, metal, plastic and painted surfaces. The glass and metal series (3000, 3001 and 3013) covers large-area glass bonding, glass-to-glass bonding and crystal bonding, with grades tuned for flexibility, near 99% transparency and long-term clarity.
| Model | Application | Color | Cure Energy | Hardness |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3112 | Security housing fixing | Light yellow transparent | 600 mJ/cm² (UV) | Shore D 68 |
| 3117 | Security glass fixing | Amber transparent | 800 mJ/cm² (UV) | Shore D 75 |
| 3118 | Light string molding | Amber transparent | 200 mJ/cm² (UV) | Shore D 85 |
| 3000 | Large-area glass bonding | Light yellow transparent | 1500 mJ/cm² (UV) | Shore D 38 |
| 3001 | Glass-to-glass bonding | Light yellow transparent | 1500 mJ/cm² (UV) | Shore D 70 |
| 3013 | Crystal bonding | Light yellow transparent | 1500 mJ/cm² (UV) | Shore D 78 |
Security devices and glass products share the same demands: fast production, clean handling and bonds that last. The new grades are formulated to cure in seconds under a matched UV light source, so parts can be handled, inspected and packed without long waiting. Low-odor formulations improve the working environment, non-stringing dispensing keeps lines clean, and excellent aging resistance protects bonds against heat, moisture and time.
Modern assembly lines run at high speed, and every second of cure time counts. UV curing adhesives harden on demand once exposed to the right light, which makes them ideal for automated production. By pairing high cure speed with easy dispensing and dependable strength, these six grades help manufacturers raise throughput without compromising quality.
Across the range, each grade is tuned to a specific job. Fast-curing 3112 delivers high strength and excellent adhesion to glass, metal, plastic and painted surfaces for security housing fixing, while 3117 resists water immersion and boiling water with excellent aging resistance for security glass. For lighting, 3118 cures extremely fast with high hardness, low odor and non-stringing dispensing; low-viscosity 3000 flows evenly and stays flexible without whitening for large-area glass bonding; 3001 offers near 99% transparency with long-term anti-yellowing performance for glass-to-glass bonding; and 3013 bonds small crystal and glass parts with high strength and no whitening or peeling.
The security series focuses on housing, glass and lighting applications where fast cure and durable adhesion matter most. The glass and metal series is engineered for optical clarity and flexibility, supporting architectural glass, glass crafts and crystal assembly. All grades share the same commitment to low odor, easy dispensing and reliable performance over time.
Every grade is produced under a consistent quality system and certified to RoHS, REACH and ISO10993. Adhesion and hardness are validated with standard tests such as the 100 grid test, while shelf life is rated at 12 months when stored at 8-28°C in the original sealed container.
All six grades are available now in packaging from 1 kg to 5 kg, with OEM and custom formulations available on request. Contact the Super-curing sales team for samples, technical data sheets and volume pricing.
